this.

game.

is.

fucking.

awesome.

graphics are nuts, sound is stellar, gameplay is intense, physics are realistic yet easy to get used to.

linky: http://www.grid-game.com/

cool features;
flashbacks (ability to recover from a crash, replay style, rewinding time)
teams (so the AI isnt the best, but its the best AI iv seen in a racing game yet)
FREEstyle drift! best drift mode ever

imho, it does what ProStreet tried to do, and failed miserably at. so ok theres only a few stock cars, mainly touring and proper race cars. but hell, better than driving shopping trolleys (Prostreet that is)

id encourage all of you to go out and buy this, its well worth your cash. only downside i can see is the career mode looks to be farely short. would probly take less than 12hours to clock it in total. but meh, nothing stopping you from going back and doing it all again. :)

110%, Best racing game out so far imo

I'm assuming you've played the PC version? Anyone tried the console versions?

Such a good racing game. At the start of each race online, its normally a ram fest.

I've online played it on the PC

Own on ps3 here, is great fun.

Career mode don't think could be clocked in 12hrs, maybe 24 depends if you win every race - some i've found quite challenging even on the most basic difficulty

Yes, pitifully slow on mav's and that's with two 7600GT's in SLI

well fingers crossed, might pull a magic trick...

EDIT: Works beautifully!!! For those of you who are unlucky enough to still be runnin an old 3200+, 7600GS 512MB, and a gig of ram, be happy. GRiD ran beautifully. Even got to play quite a few driftin rounds with Combatant, Godzy and N Hero (whoever that was??). Sorry about crashin into u guys too lol, was still gettin used to the controls and not being able to feather the throttle due to using a keyboard and not a PS2 CONTROLLER!!! *looks at Godzy...

After playin GRiD, it still maintains its awesomeness from reading reviews to actually getting to play the game. Very impressed. NFS series, shove over. There's a new racing game that pwns all!!!!
