View Full Version : Next LAN ?
Hmmmm Who throwing a LAN b4 school goes back ?????
maybe another LOTD?. *hint* *hint*
Well LOTD will quite possibly get together at some stage and have a small LAN amoungst ourselves, but wether or not we decide to go large and invite the world remains to be seen. Seeing as though its been hinted at it may be possible.
With the same venue as before maybe or somewhere different due to the ventelation problems held at the last one. It will come down to wether any of us can be bothered or not at this stage I would probably say no though.
There's one in Hamilton on the Sat / Sun of the Australia Day Weekend.. though I'm sure most of you won't bother travelling up here.
hm... now that's an idea
if only i could get there /me looks at sks :P

Dennington sounds good.

apparantly the next edition of HAMLAN will be this weekend, the entire long weekend, same venue (the pac) don't know any other details, but it just means i can't go :( i need an official MorB representative to get me some f0t0s from it, and some other...stuff...
how about get fletcher funnz or wotever he is, into the forums so we can persuade him to grab us that quaint lil venue again..so we can have another mishLAN

Erm......how many players does Warcraft support???
woo ! huge battlefield game.. with platoons incharge of certain areas and units MAHOYHOY!!
Ok boys, heres the official news.
Thankyou all for you interest in another Denington LAN. Seing as the last one was a success, and your all interested in another, Fletcher and I are talking it over at current. We will be planning the event to go ahead within a month, providing we are able to get the venue. We have to go back to school on Wednesday of next week, so at the moment we are preparing for that shitty experience. But we will plan to have it fairly shortly into the new school term. 1-2 weeks hopefully.
Any one that can provide any equipment at all, servers, cables, whatever, just drop a line below, or email me at solomon_doak@hotmail.com. Any suggestions for the lan will be muchly appreciated, and they can be made in the form of posts below :). Please note, there will not be any official competitions at the LAN as we (the organisers) fell it was such a success because of this factor last time. We will be aiming for 20-30 people once again, providing how many we can cram in without it becomming uncomfortable. May have to hire tables etc.. but hopefully we will be able to keep the cost to a minimum ($10, same as last time).
Stay tuned for more information shortly. :D
no leeching tho ey?
especially porn... *looks at ace*
Some leaching will be happening I suppose, as people were unable to make MorB 4 etc... and feel like they need to catch up on whatz going around. But if it could be kept to a minimum this would be good, as more people for games equals more fun for everyone. And to people who come and sit there and play single player games, please dont come, someone else will want your spot
And to Nuke, Zifn't Da MOOSE!! :D

Oh, so playing solitare all night is out of the question? Damn and I was so hoping too!
man i always try to slip in the odd game of minesweeper other wise its just not a lan
in line with all this lan info, i might just add that Tommyboy pointed me to this new group just formed in Geelong, www.monsterlan.com, obviously they run a lan, in geelong, not a lot of info last i checked and atm i cant get to their site, but anyhoo, might be worth a look in..i know i'll prolly go along if i can
and in regard to solitaire, seafnt spider solitaire on 2 or 3 suit mode, days of entertainment :P
:D SKS, the reason u cant get to that link buddy, is cuz it has a (,) after the .com
Try the link without that and it looks fine to me, hehe :P
May be worth looking at the Geelong LAN, but for the people with no means of transport etc... Denington LAN will b good fun aswell.
no chopper the site actually was down, i wouldnt post the link, click it then re-edit the post to say its not workin well
up again is good
