this isnt really a tech help query, but i though it was the most suitable thread if any.

while modestly overclocking my humble dual 3G intel grrrrr, i was just watching CPUZ clocks n stuff. and i noticed every 30 seconds or so, this:

28GHz ?!?!
do the math and with my dual core, that equates to 56GHz combined power :P . now of course, this is a program error hehe but dam. has anyone else come across this before?
btw, those temps are full dual core load, and for intel, 62C is pretty damed good for dual core overclocked to the following speed..........

anyways, my REAL OC score so far has been this, and this is what it shouldve read the whole time lol:

3.3GHz on each core, 6.6GHz total :)

btw, i can OC now cos iv lowered teh Vcore to 1.200V down from 1.400V, and warrnambools shit cold weather :P.

ED: tonight i reached my first goal of 3.5GHz, so im happy for now........ mmmm 4GHz............

getting it there is one thing- making it stable is another.

you said it man, dual core stress tests are whats hapening now, 3.53Ghz has been proven stable, 3.61Ghz and counting......

ED: 3.60GHz is the final outcome. if i raised Vcore i could go higher, but im gettin nice low temps now so im gonna stick wit this :)

too bad even with it running stock it'll run rly hot, its intel, they all do that ;)

yas yas, intel biatch is hot, but lower volts mean not as hot as if it were at stock volts, and it is still stable

btw, lowered to 3.53GHz to reduce sdome capaciter whine and a little heat ;)
