Lan Nexted weekend ???? 28th Sept

I'm bored an want to LAN BF 1942 and UT2003.

If i can get a venue is anyone interested in some ph33r to ph33r Lannage action ??? post here and tell ya mates

OK I'm gonna hold it in my mum double garage as she will be at the grand final (corprate box apparently) it's got good power cause my dad upgraded it so he cause use his welder an **** in it.

Cost will be minimal (bout $7) and all prfits shall be donated to MorB in order to by more **** for da big LAN's. Usual setup we will provide 1 power and 1 network point for everyone who comes. If ya interested plz post here so i can estimate how many tables to get.

Network Cabling provided. Oh an if anyones needs like NIC's or **** give me a yell an I'll see what i can get to lend ya.

Due to commitments I have the LAN will start at 9am and finish 11:30 / midnight (GF night I wanna go to the pub). I'll try to keep cost as low as possible. Treat this like the beta for the monthly LAN idea. So if this event is well supported I'll try to hold a similar thing every month (Probley in a propper venue though)

It's still over 12 hours of solid Wall to wall LANNing.
I will try to get a dedicated BF1942 server and UT demo server going for it.

Works out to less than $1 per hour for ur lannage. Thats still good value.

If weather is OK an people are nice to me I might chuck a BBQ as well but don't count on it.

1st in best dressed. Have to look at venue to get definate numbers but about 15 to 20 seems likely

Games will be mainly BF1942 and the UT demo (unless a copy of UT2003 appears out of nowhere)

Looked at venue an it bigger than i remember. might fit 25 mabey 30 if I organise it good
