Here's how you should have handled that post:

a) If you were interested, then simple, polite and coherent expressions of interest are good. A simple 'I'd be interested in going' would have sufficed. Once people have responded as such, TRAVELLING ARRANGEMENTS CAN THEN BE WORKED OUT. So simply saying that 'it's sorta the hole cant get there thing lolomgkthxbi' doesn't really answer the question as to whether or not you were interested in going.

b) If you were not interested, then you could have done one of two things. A classy post expressing your desire not to go, as well as a cheap shot at some random noob would have been acceptable. Or, keeping quiet would have worked also.

I should really compile all these tips into one big-ass sticky....
