on my new laptop i have a dvd burning that can't go around copy protection (what the hell is the point of a burning program that doesn't go around copy protection)

so what is the best bang for buck wit burning programs?

Me and my lil brother use nero 7 and i've had no problems with protection errors

you might be able to download a trial vershon or get it of torrentspy.com

heres a link for nero 6 ultra trial version ftp://ftp3.us.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.16.exe try that out or jump on torrentspy.com as random said u should be able to get a full version there

Not that i am condoning the priacy of software tho :)

i think if ur looking to backup dvds, u might want to read up on the guides at www.doom9.org

simple suggestion at this point would be to look into a program called "anydvd"

but go read the guides first :)

I agree with skulls about anyDVD. I used nero all the time to burn DVDs but one recently refused to burn. I grabbed AnyDVD and it worked perfectly.

piracy is bad, but fire is bad too, so we should be able to backup our originals in case of a fire.
