Gh3y DVD prob

hey guys, upon moving up i backed up all my stuff onto dvd, i didn't take my puter so i thought it would be the best bet. upon arriving, i found that every disk had corrupted, in one way or another, i was getting CRC errors on one, a refusal to read on another and one was just crashing the computer i was on. now the question lies, what is the problem? the computer i have atm, or the disks, or something else?

blame the drive first,,, does it work with a normal dvd that u know works ?

U should always run a verify when backing up data

thanks for the imput, i know what caused it all now, i burnt at 8x when its only 4x media, i know cds dont usually get phased by over speed issues, and naturally assumed that dvds were the same, i know it might not be the biggest prob, but it's the most likely...
