Crazy Ram

okayu i have been peiceing together ym new pc when the kind help of skull shot (he has been doling all the work) we encoutered something odd we run the computer in c-mos and it said i had 2 gig of ram when i purchesd 1 gig anyone have an answer

what does it say on the actual stick(s)?? does it say 1 gig? or 512 ( 2 of em?)

its a corsair twinx 1024 pack, so its meant to be 2x512, still gotta load up windoze on it so it wil be interesting to see what we end up with. i wouldnt complain if ya got 2 for 1 :)

yer i hope they made aq mistake in the factory

check its seated properly, i had a 20gig hdd that listed as 200gig cos the cable was loose

haha nah windoze sees it as 1 gig, im unna have a look at the bios again i rekon we were reading the cache size or somefin
