View Full Version : *SPOILERS* Star wars : Revenge of the sith : brain storming

Last night i went along to see the new star wars film im not a big fan of the star wars films so instead of saying it was good or bad i will just shoot off some ideas.

The thing that i disliked about this film was that for me there was nothing to keep me interested in the events unfolding.

The first two films introduced something new they showed us the history of the characters and the start of the clone wars that got me interested in what was going.

Sith does'nt have any substance to it nothing new is brought to the table to me it just seemed like Lucas was getting his pay check.

So fellow morbens what are your thoughts on this film? this is not a topic for reviewing the film but more of a brain storm on the ideas , story lines and events that happened.

brain storming something that's already happened?? Interesting concept. People usually brainstorm to create an idea, not to diagnose something already there.

i think howlin means plot gaps and shite beefy

omg who would have thought anakin skywalker becomes darth vader!!?

i went with this certain howling fella, it was a good movie, enjoyed it quite muchly, felt like they tried to stick to a certain length of film and i got the feeling they cut it too short and rushed on some things, i reckon it would have been worth the extra money to make it a little longer, otherwise, good as!!

Yah i agree it was good, has any one heard the rumours about continueing the series were the old ones left off

um lucas has allready stated that he will not be doing movies 7,8 & 9. which is upsetting these are the coolest parts of the entirity of the star wars storylines

i agree, but there is very rousing rumours of a 100 episode tv series being filmed in australia, from whati heard they are more based around shorter stories in the sw world

My English teacher proposed today that the sith emperor is Anikins father. As Anikin was made by midi chlorines and he says that he can manipulate midi chlorines, among other things. And its got me thinking. And I was just wondering if anyone else thought the same or not and if so y? and wot in the movies tells us that he is/isn’t Anikins father

If it did come out that the emperor was really darth vader's father then i think it would be pretty weak , with the whole darth vader/ luke skywalker already existing it would seem to me that he can't do anything more creative then say um WELL HE"S YOUR FATHER TO.

In the movie The Emp did make reference to a Sith master who could manipulate the midi-chlorines but he also said that Sith was killed by his own apprentice. It's quite possible he was in fact referring to his own master which if you follow the Anakin's father theory would make the dead Sith his dad, though i'm not sure if the timeline would work out for that.
It would indeed be ironic if The Emp did kill his former master since he was himself picked off in the end by his student Darth Vader.

this is not really the moment in the trilogy where alot of new stuff comes into it. evieryone knew from the start what would happen, just seeing how it happens.....

Revenge of the Sith has more substance to it than the first two films, with the 2nd one been better than the first and this one better than them both.

i did like the revelation that Darth Sidious is in fact Emperor Palpatine....that was a sweet twist to the whole thing.

i did love them piecing vader together in his lovely black suit thooo (must be evening wear lol)

I wish that obi wan had just used force push, and landed anakin in the lava, woulda made that scene sooo much sweeter, then, darth sidious coulda used that force contorling thingy he learnt from the master of his and rebuilt vader.. AND then, vader woulda been like "*WOOSH WOOSH* I think you fucked up my voice *WOOSH WOOSH*"

i only saw the 1st one a couple of times, it wasnt that good...if i watch it again now it will probably be clear as hell...

just had a look at the end of episode 2....and yes i shoulda seen that, its obvious.

love the banter in sith between obi and anni quite funny to see how much ani has grown up

i find it hard to believe that you didn't pickup on it still, in the Phantom, they refer to him as chancellor palpatine, hmmmm, if my guess is right, there are very few palpatines, that or lucas ran out of names and hoped we wouldn't notice...

other than that, me love it long time

Saw Revenge of the Sith just after it came out in Warrnambool. It was AWESOME! possibly even better than the original three. The Sith Lord that could save people possibly could have been Annakin's father which sounds cool. Clawcity summed it up well.
The wars and light sabre fights were sweet in Episode 3, as well as it all fitting in place with the other 5 episodes. :D
