Time to discuss what games you would like to play in the Marathon Comp and the Novelty Comp

any other suggestions for more comps are welcome of course

maybe add more than 3 rounds. realy make the marathon comp a marathon :P UT2k4 was fine. maybe farcry aswell - thats gets to be pretty damn awsome with 10+ ppl in a server.

edit: does battlefield 2 have a deathmatch option?

i can think of plenty of people that would play battle field 2 if u could play DM.

What i would like to see is atleast one comp were various clans battle, say like a ladder or somthing were clan play multiple short games and the clan with the most points win.

Or even just a comp that a clan can plays in like cod or css or bf 1 or 2 or war 3 or ut or somthing (the list is endless) were its teams on teams.

UT2k4 u can play team battle with multiple teams in the one game cant ya?

I think clan comps is more a RAP Lanz thing.

lol. you and your bloody dugeon keeper. yeah ,great comp game that would be...you can only play upto 4 players at a time and if you actually have 4 people it lags beyond the point of playability when still in the level chooser.

How about Joint operations, i dunno if this has been triled at any lans but its heaps of fun, just lik bhd but with vechials and better weapons

painkiller is the next-big-thing in terms of competitive multiplay... i wouldn't mind giving that a run before farcry - pk is about 10x faster pased, more intence etc etc.

i really didn't like painkiller. farcry is great but we've always had trouble getting enough people into it at once and you need e decent number for those big maps (not as bad as black hawk down though). boat jumps, FUN! stand still gros while i launch this boat over your head. *THUMP* whoops! :)

im down for far cry ( watch ya back phill ;) ) How about some SWAT 4??? love that game ... spesh online. And im always up CSS and NFSU2

far cry seems to be the go atm: however - what about the same reason as ut2k4 was a flop last time - the cbf factor of _installing_ the game, being able to run it. i'll garrentuee that someone will sook that thier PC isnt' "good enough" to run it.

Pirates is good, but it gets old pretty quickly. I think you'll find only the XBox version has MP abilities. There was a April Fools hoax about an expansion for PC that features MP, among other stuff (which made it sound like an RTS :) )

GAther you've never played vietcong MP. miles of jungle and random spraying of bullets is great! Campers Are us.

Dirt track sprint car racing is only fun for about half an hour, but it wouldent b bad coz ever one could play it "even my crappy laptop". but i reckon Far Cry would be a better choice!

Interesting. The LAN was OK, bloody freezing inside though. I was surprised at the amount of people playing CSS, it was great, even if it was an Emporio version that was old as.

BTW, incase you're wondering; I was playing at the LAN as [F.U] Spastic. in CSS.

I had V8SC 2 as well but the only person I knew of with a copy didn't turn up... lol

V8SC is a bit network glitchy (car position on track) and you can't turn off colisions which makes fair races get annoying (you can be steering wide of someone and on their machine ur cutting them off)... would have still been fun...

haven't played a lot of v8sc2 network yet as i dont know many ppl with copies it seems good on network..

I had plenty of fun prior MorB with NFSU2 tho had a few alright challenges for a little while... lol
