can any one tel me. What is more beneficial to run games with, more ram or a super video card?? :?:

RAM! with at least a 64 mg vc.

Depends what you've got. No point getting a top of the line video card if you've just got a Celeron 800 with 128MB RAM trying to run Windows XP. Or having 2GB of RAM with a TNT2 video card...

What are your specs now?

Im pretty sure he's got a 16mg vc with 256 mg of ram and a p4 1.7 is that right Kyphosis? meh well im pretty sure thats right.

in that case i would up the ram to at least 512, and spend a little cash and get a 9600xt it should cost about 350 - 370 bucks brand new.

I'd go for a little upgrade on each. An extra 256MB RAM will work a treat. Everything will run a lot better, not just games.

And, to get a bit more out of games, you could go the cheap as shit option and get a GF4MX, or go for something a little higher like a GF4 Ti, or maybe a Radeon 9600 or better... Just to help out for a while.

a mx440 is a ballsy lil video card, i'm running one atm and i can run a lot of game off it, i just need an extra 512mb or ram

1.8 gig pent 756 sd ram and gf4 i have no prob in most games :twisted:
