Movie: Alien vs Predator

Just finished watching this one. Surprisingly good. Actually makes me wanna go back and play AvP2 again. :)

Human acting wasn't overly great, but that didn't matter too much. Also, for big fans of Alien / Predator seperately, they might be a little disappointed as it strays from the seperate stories, but as a stand alone movie it was damn good...

i would have to say that i didn't overly enjoy it 2 much - from what i could tell - if u knew nothing of the seperate stories you would be completely lost/

i also thought that the story moved a little too quickly for what it was trying to portray.

maybe i just had 2 high expectations

The one-on-one between the alien and the predator was awesome, and the preds really gave the impression of being tanks on legs. I ended up being dissappointed when the last pred fell. Though the plot won't score many points with people, I thought the action was well worth it. And how cool was that alien head shield!!

I wondered what was goin on there for a while with the head shield. :) Thought he mighta been digging something out of the head for her.. Worked well though. The whole 'bomb' communication was a little dodgy though.

It wasn't that bad, I figured a panel of symbols that change every second was universal for bomb.

The pred clenching a fist and then opening it was supposed to convey 'bomb' I think :)

Love it......... thata all i can say.

i loved it.. i loved the end the most.. hopefully a sequal :D

yeah wk i have to agree with u on that pal!!!!! :D but yuh i just watched it and it worthy enuff to be placed in my movie grave yard!! loved the fact that there was a preditor ship out on the top of the ice, lol! nice!

only a 6 out of 10 peach.... tis a little low. Was there something about it you didn't like

The whole idea of it being a predator training ground was great, what better way to test your mettle as a warrior then to take on acid for blood aliens.

The hybrid at the end was great, though not very believable as the predators can see in infra red and should have picked it up, also, when the host dies, so does the alien spawn. But imagine a predator with greatly enhanced speed and agility.

Reminded me of the game. :) Running around as a pred-alien.

Maybe the preds didn't think to look in IR.

well they didnt expect him to have one inside of him.. he had no signs of it being in him.. nd i dont think the predator even reliased it layed on in him.

Cool fight scenes. Too much of the start was wasted building human storylines when everyone just wanted to see the alien/pred fights. I liked how they had the queen all set up just for breeding though.

YUH the breeder queen was quite exceptional

No dobut that was the sales pitch when they made this film. I had read reviews on AvP and none gave me hope for this film approaching anything decent.

Characters that no one would care about , a Alien queen who went to the T-rex from JPark school of acting and a scene which threw back to Robin and batman which left me questioning is there a god and if there is why does he let films like this be made.

two words... I liked!!! Waiting for the next, thats if theres gunna be a next!?!?!?

i enjoyed it but i found it to be very dark

i watched this movie and thought it was pretty good.
i watched a pirate copy of it while it was in the cinamers and the quality wass really crap. i havent seen any other copys of it but overall i give it a 5/10 :!:

Note to Shadow - If you're gonna talk about movies, we really don't need to know if it was a pirate copy or not.....

It certainly had it's high points, like when the Pred was kicking alien butt!!!
In the end though he died way too easily.
