Movie - Chronicles of Riddic|<

I'll keep this short as i'm buggered.

For those that don't know, CoR is the sequel to the film Pitch Black, which was released a few years ago now. Wasn't a giant hit, but was a good film. Vin Diesel is back as Riddick in this one, which is set a couple years after the other one...

All in all, I liked the film. It had a big 'Stargate' feel to it for me, but most of it was very well done. Couple characters from the first film are back, though most are different actors.

If you've seen and liked Pitch Black, then I'll recommend this to go and watch. Vin looks like he's been doing some serious working out, and plays his macho character well.

Plus wasn't this set before the first movie, or does it just have flashblacks to his past or something?

Nah, this was after the first one. There's not really a lot in the way of flash backs, but the storyline involves him meeting up with a few people he met in the first movie.

old - i got this movie, its animated - apparantly its set to bridge the gap b/n pitch black 1 and 2 (ie. 1.5) is this what you are taklin about bbef or is that what #2 is called?

Nah, this is the sequel which is due out in cinemas next month in Australia. I might grab that animated one off ya though.

This movie lacked blood and gore, it could have borrowed some from the xbox game, I think this movie was designed to be shown on channel 10 at 8 30. The fighting is cool but most of it involved people getting punched with a fist holding a knife.
