View Full Version : Movie: The Day After Tomorow (Review)
I just went and saw the day after tomorrow at the cinemas.
Enjoyable, but it did not grip me in suspense. It's a hard topic to cover in a movie i guess.
The special effects were great and Denis Quaid carried the movie along really well. Would have liked to have seen a bit more after the storm had passed and they try and figure out what to do.
But very good not as good as Van Helsing but not bad either !
I'm off to watch the season finale of Enterprise :D
why the fuck did we not see the president die!!!!!!!
When was the last movie where you see the president die???(apart from JFK)
man i though the movie was good, it left a lot of hole in the story.
What happend the the 12 year old scotch??
That should of kept them going!!!!!
I liked it , it though it was a good movie. But i'd have to agree with you Vipster they should have shown a bit more about what they were going to do after, even if it only told us a little but, which could have set it up for a sequal. But if they did a sequal it wouldnt do as well in my opinion as the first was not as good as it was hyped up to be
But over all i would give it about 7.5 out of 10 mostly becasue of the special effects
its an ice age. wtf would they have done..
regardless, good movie, but as most movies like that are these days, it was _way_ to "yay were' american"
they could have gotten out lots and lots of big heaters and melted the ice, or they could have made all the ice into one big snow cone and everyone had a bit and got a really bad brain freeze or or they could have made a winter wonder land out of it all with ride and stores and all that kind of stuff it would have been cool.... i can see it now 'Welcome to the Coldest Place on Earth, where there are frozen bodies lying around for ur entertainment' I would go there
hey Kamikaze King, that winter wonderland sounds pretty shit, I wouldn't go there unless it was really awesome.
i enjoyed the movie. i loved the effects. but yes. i would have liked to see what happend after. you never get to see that.
AH but it would be awsome. It would take all of Disney Lands customers. The Winterwonder Land would be the place to be and if u havent been then ur a nobody cos everyone will be talking about it and u would know wot they were talking about so u would be shut out of the group and u'll have to talk to ur imaginary friends bill and bob, but even they would have been so they would ditch u to join the others.
its an ice age. wtf would they have done..Built igloos and snowmen!!! And had the world's biggest snowball fight!
Finally saw this movie and I enjoyed it. A couple of bits were kinda silly, but overall was a goodun
The movie was ok, but i dont understand how a marble floor can freeze over, especially if it had no water on it, which means that when the steel and bronze structures froze, the temperature must have been below -150, which does nto exist anywhere on earth, which also means it cannot be created in a storm. The movie was good for a slow kindof lead in action, but the plot was fucked.
yeah it was abit dramatic but if you don't be picky it was awesome i liked it when they showed the cleaner in the sky skraper
I really liked this movie. i thought it was well thought out and really works. Ok maybe some things cant be explained but other things back them up
