Movie: Hackers

Whereas many computer-related movies which portay haX0rz in any way are devils of the net, evil pricks, killing, maiming, lieing, cheating, stealing, the list goes on, this one is different, the good guys are a group including the very young Angelina Jolie :lol: and the guy who becomes Shaggy in the Scooby Doo movies. They are hackers, the guys who just do it for the kicks, having fun and causing mischeif, no lieing cheating or stealing. Personally, i really enjoyed this great movie, it shows the viewer the good guys aren't always the socially accepted criminals society lablels. I enjoy the witty humour, many lines will remain with me, Joey!!

I got the soundtrack for it, it was good, some nice techno trax, and some nice music in gen. the story is pretty simple, stop the bad guy before he wins, simple enuff, do it without meeting him face to face, thats not so simple, how about hackin a gibson and clashing him in a showdown, thats sounds like fun!

So thats it from me, u guys might have different opinions about but i give it 4 ribs outta 5!!

watch wargames, not this hackers crap....

off the top of my head i cant think of one major movie portraying hackers as evil or pricks, your review is not very good but i agree the hackers soundtrack is.

I enjoyed Hackers, even though it's portrayal of hacking is more fantasy than reality, it was still worth watching just to see Cereal Killer. And their excitmeny over the antiquated laptop with the 28k modem never ceases to amuse me.

it wasnt bad.. takedown was much much better.
