Hey guys,

We will be holding a MorB during the midyear this year and we want to know what you want to see from us.

What games?
What comps?
etc

Let us know now so we can try and make this the best MorB to come.

Not sure if you've played League Of Legends at MorB before, but I think it's a good one for it.

Are they still doing that? I havent seen that promo for a while now lol.

I actually havent played this because I got into HoN rather than LoL. Does it have LAN? I remember getting excited for HoN in its beta stage because it was going to have LAN. But it seems that they dropped it from development :(

yeah most of the energy drink companies still do it, but only in the bigger LANs 150+

personally, quite liked vlans choice of games/comps this time around.

always nice to have a non-gaming related comp. i like benching, but other (non-gaming) things are fun, seem to remember the morb chip eating comp was popular the other year.. :)

edit: though the games from last morb were a good selection also

Looking at July 2nd and 3rd atm. Failing that the week after. (First weekend of mid year holidays.) Will confirm once the booking is all done.

Move casting into the main room, spectating comps should be emphasised more and every lanner should be able to watch/listen from their PCs so the competitions have a better audience. If they dont like it they can turn up their headphones. +1 red bull girls

Well we failed at getting the 2nd and 3rd. So we have had to change the dates to the following weekend, the 9th and 10th. I hope this doesnt upset anyone :)

on the topic of the benchmarking comp mentioned earlier (or in another thread perhaps..), OCAU are running one at the moment which i thought was worth mentioning - rather than a "outright fastest" competition (which is fun aswell..), its a "whoever gets closest to X score".
the target score they've set in their comp is a fairly realistic one that most computers should be able to reach - this keeps it fair, anyone can have a go, winner comes down to system and/or clockspeed tweaks, and a bit of luck..

something to consider perhaps anyway
