LAN IN MELBOURNE
Do you live in melbourne? ...yes
Are you a gaming freak? yes!
Are you twitching for another LAN? YES!!!
Then this is for you! Lantastic is holding once again another one of their infamous LANs in Melbourne
Cost:
Players - $20 - This includes playing for the whole weekend, and dinner on saturday night
Spectators - $10 - This includes playing with a spare pc if there is one and dinner on saturday night
Date: Friday 10th October - Sunday 12th October. Friday is usually used for setting up, Saturday is when the comps are running, sunday....erm whatever u feel like hehe
Location: The Factory. 30 Allied Drive, Tullarmarine
BYO: Munchies, drinks, chairs (we have some but if theres alot of people attending you may miss out),PCs (duh), you own powerboard, and anything else you think you might need =)
COMPETITIONS: Held on saturday evening
There will be 3-4 competitions being held on Saturday. The details of this have yet to be annouced,so i will keep you all up to date with this. Join the Lantastic forum to register http://lantastic.com.au/forums/index.php
There will also be some fantastic prizes from our sponsor DIGIWORLD (www.digiworld.com.au). In the past weve given away 512 RAM, CD writer and gift vouchers. So stay tuned for what we have to give away next!
We also have an xbox connected to a projector, so bring some games and enjoy playing on the BIIIGGGGG screen hehe
SECURITY: FYI
Due to some virus's unleashing themselves recently, there is a must to do a security check before connecting to the network, so before connecting the LAN we will have to administer a system virus check =)
