We're going to run a Blood Bowl competition at the next event. Would people prefer we used the original BB or the newer Legendary Edition?

I would actually be keen to see a game of bloodbowl. I've heard so much about it at past lans and have never actually seen a game played.

You should give it a go. Get some practice in before the LAN ;)

its a great game to take away from the endless sameness of all the FPS games.

it seems to me that all the game devs are to worried about what each other are making that they all end up making the same damn game. thats where Bloodbowl comes in great its in a class of its own.

Haha, that's fair enough. I'm actually keen to play some indi titles :) Magicka, Monday Night Combat, and Risk Factions. Starcraft 2 would make my day tho.

South West TAFE (http://www.swtafe.vic.edu.au) will once again be sponsoring the event. Their generous contribution is to promote their Advanced Diploma of Computer Systems Engineering (http://www.swtafe.vic.edu.au/coursefinder/displaybrochure.aspx?id=107), a course I'm currently undertaking myself :)

that is correct. should be good fun, and its a cod game so it don't have to be taken too seriously... anyone found to be taking it seriously will be pointed and laughed at.:p

I wouldn't have thought so its only a game. ;) but if u feel u must take it seriously go a head Strat it up plan to be the awesome cod5 players it will make u feel good. :D

any other comps apart from bb and cod5? on top of the 2 pc comps there will be a comp for the Xbox players. I believe that there is some interest in some benchmarking though its not going to be an official comp benchmarking by its very nature is the ultimate test of e-peen and very competitive
