DVD rom wont enable

I was trying to get my DVD rom to work but it wont..
it seems to be disabled in the hardware profile.. i tried enabling it but it said windows cant enable it. I'm not sure what the go is...
Anyone else have any ideas?

erm, have u tried it in different positions like primary/secondary master/slave with diff settings like manual or cable select?

Hahaha forget this thread. it died.... it was making the most terrible noises after i ripped two dvd's....
so i put it in the cupbaord in the laundry and thats where it will stay! untill i throw everything out or something.

Give it to me. I'll add it to the video. ;)

My video that has been in production for, oh, 3 years now. :) I think Silencer or Skullshot has the trailer for it. Ask them about it. I've done some more filming and editing since.

the dvd rom isnt in its case.. ill have to put it back together b4 morb. dunno where the screws are. does that matter?
