Games And Versions That will be run

OK I'm gonna post the most likly played games at MorB an the versions that we will be running so that if u wish to avoide hours of hassel at the LAN, getting patches an updates an wondering why ur version of BF1942 won't connect to the server, I suggest you keep an eye out there an make sure the games u want to play are installed BEFORE morb and patched correctly.

Trust me, theres nothing worst than missing out on a because u didn't have the right patch installed.

I'll update this post as we setup servers an new versions come out. Chk back about a week b4 morB an if ya wanna save heaps of time an hassel, PATCH ur games b4 MorB

Nice work BL. Something that is always suggested before a LAN but never normally happens.

Two things though:

- Mod versions. Could be handy to list as well.
- Other popular games that might not necessarily have a ded server but could be played anyways. Along the lines of UT2K3, RTS's, etc.

Just a thought.

If you know of other games, mention them and their versions here too, we can append them to a list or whatever

Yeah this is a whole "List In Progress" Basically I'd like a page on MorB where we list the all the games played at a lan an the versions that we run (normally the latest but there can be exceptions)

A lot of times it's hard to get reliable info on game versions (especially Mods) So I'm gonna keep updating this post an possibly start producing a database of this info.

i was thinking of wackin in a new dynamic page for this...

VC 1.2 would be nice for those of us already running said version..


the.... *chough*"fix"*cough* 1.2 is also out if that was the concern.

also, i think the biggest problem with this idea is that many people can't get hold of a lot of the patches due either to the size of them, or the fact that some don't even have an internet connection, and these are generally the ones that get to a lan and then have to get the patches..


also a lot of people wouldnt even know where to look so a list of sites to get patches from would also be helpful

oh and anyone wondering why they patched a particular game and now it says insert cd, check out www dot megagames dot com's game fixes/pc section :)
