mildura lan

i was talking about how i wanted a proper sized lan in these holidays, and couldnt be bothered driving the ballarat or finding were morb 5 was, so someone decided they would have one in mildura.

I don't know if it's wise holding a LAN during the week. By doing so you stop anybody who works or studies from coming.

true but... its during the holidays for most yr 11 and 12s so they can make it, and who cant do their job without sleep.

I wills be dere so it will be the bestest LAN ever except I've lost my second hardrive so I'm upset and won't be able to scab as much which is gh3y coz I like scabing stoof. Anyways I wills be dere and many of j00 others should too. :shock:

Assassin is another lanner, but is unnaturally good at killing people in games such as counterstrike or UT. largo sensai must be annoyed that he is continuously beaten by him at lans.

I think ill redesign my website again, the registration thing is hidden through 2 unnamed links, i'll make it a little more obvious and easier to follow.

it should, we checked out the hall which is kickass. Got a perminent 24 port 10 meg hub for a backup network.
All i need to do is find more nerds to come along, nerds are a hard thing to find though, since they avoid sunlight and human contact.

put word out? posters at schools (too late now i guess) and at game stores etc.

mebbe head poster with "FREE JOLT COLA" that will get a nerds attention

how about free coke, and five dollar pizzas, energy drinks cost way to much, unless i could somehow get a huge keg of jolt wholesale.

the lan is tomorrow, so far we have all the ingredients (nice 10 100 hub thanks to oopy, great hall thanks to big bags of money)besides a huge list of nerds on the register, but dont worry about that plenty more are coming. I dont think mildura people are very net savvy, you might have guessed at that from my website.

Will have to get some pics of the lan, including our door prize.

that would be real usefull, i think my days in web design are numbered. Hopefully merlinator starts up the ADLs again, cause i really doubt i'll run another lan. Turning up is just so much easier.

the assassin is now in adelaide, and hes usually the one chasing down nerds with a spade or a knife.

The lan went down ok - smaller turnout than expected but we covered costs ($6.45 short) and had a few real interesting events. The most played games were CS (which i pretended to hate since i was pretending to be an admin) and oddly enough RUNE.
