Hello,
Velocity LANs would like to welcome Laser Strike as a partner. For those who don't know what it's all about heres a brief overview.
http://www.velocitylans.com/images/sponsors/lazer_350.jpg (http://www.laserstrike.com.au/)
http://www.laserstrike.com.au/
The laser skirmish guns shoot harmless beams of infra-red light, they work both indoors and outdoors, make lots of noise and have sensors on the target lighting up to show a ‘hit’. Each hit reduces available health points, until the player gets “killed or retired” from the game.
There are several different weapons on offer including short-range sub-machine guns through to long-range telescopic sniper rifles, each with its own tactics and uses. Some weapons can fire 170+ meters!
Many different tactical missions and scenarios are battled out and are to be won or lost.
Teams must work together on their planning and strategy to achieve their aims and objectives.
Games and sessions available both during the day and at night.
Laser Strike will be sponsoring our next event with a free 5v5 clan battle as a prize valued at $250!

If you wish to organise your own event, please feel free to contact Ben on 0404 464 646 or via Email - laserstrike@live.com.au
Personally I've spent a few hours out there playing with mates, it's the most fun I've had for a long time!
Best Regards,
Jesse "vLan.Burnz" Kelly.

Hi all!
Just a reminder that there is less than a month to go until Velocity LAN 3. We hope this will be the best Velocity LAN so far because of a few major changes to our gear, as well as some awesome prizes!
Just by signing up to the event (and showing up on the day) you go into a random draw prize which will be announced at the LAN. You will only have a chance of winning it if you sign up on the website.
Best Regards,
vLan.Burnz

I think my brother plays it on his xbox.. I haven't though :P
lol, thats cool.
I'm just keen to play something that isnt call of duty. It sorta gets a bit old after 2-3 years of constant lannage.

Play FEAR then :)
I do remember having a blast when we ran Fear Combat as a comp at morb. In fact, I reckon that was our highest interest in a comp we've seen in terms of entrants. :)
I'm surprised the mp hasnt really seen the light it should.

GameArena had a pretty big prize comp on release but that's it really.. It's a really good game, just a shame it doesn't get played more. Public server files and everything!
