New Steam

Ok with the new steam Client being shoved at us, im keen to find out what people are thinking about it.

Personally I think that it needs more work its slow painfully slow, it looks like it was just slapped together with out a great deal of thought..
("hey lets put a button over here and maybe one more down here and hang on we should put a window here and perhaps some advertising banners here")

it really just has an untidy feel to it. I don't care if the Guru's at Valve think it's a master piece I think its unfinished and ...quite ugly really, but unfortunately I'm stuck with it.
and to top all off it seems to have doubled at the very least how system resource dependent it is.

All being said im sure that it will be improved in time as was the case when steam1 first came out it had a similar list of problems and hell it turned out alright.

Im still yet to see it, but those who i talked to who tried the beta client loved it.

Ill jump on tonight and see what all the fuss is about. I miss the old steam tho, where i could play chess while playing counterstrike and day of defeat :)

No idea, the self-updater seems to have failed and destroyed itself on my computer.
One day I might have a need to re-download it.

Seems to work pretty well, I had it in beta form.

most recent update as in yesterday has helped a bunch it is working heaps better now, still im not sold on the layout it could be worse.
