LAN-X-FOR The Children

Hey Guys!

Just letting you know that they 4th installment of LANX is going to
be held over the easter weekend, thursday to monday, 5 days of
cold pizza and hot chicks (can't promise the hot chicks!). There is
room for 207 people, goto http://lanx.owns.it to have a geezer!
Hope you guys can make it to this one!

ALL proceeds are being donated to the good friday appeal! Every
one was always asking me, man, how much money do you make
from these things... well, I'm not in it for the money, I believe in
non profit LAN's!!! So to answer their questions, I am making...
nothing, nothing at all :D The way it should be! I have a great
group of guys working with me! It is going to go off!

NOTE: The booking system is currently being written as an admin
add on to our forum, I'm having a lot of fun with the design and
it will be up soon! You have to register on the forum to register
for the event. All you will have to do then, is goto the booking
system page, click on an area, then click on the seat you want,
our php scripts of love will do the rest ;)

why choose easter weekend? i have to do family stuffz then, its like nearly same as choosing christmas day to lan, but 5 days! OMG that'd be mad - hope u dont blow too many switches up with 5 straight days of 100% load!!!

birthday on the thursday, having a bit of a bash out there on the
saturday night, it's going to be mad! ;)

5 days.. lol woaaa!! that would be mental.. i say play a 5 day long combat mission 60 people in flashpoint! hahaha na j/k.. 5 days.. ill be havin a serious think bout goin.. but 5 days just gives the feds more time to kick the door down ;)

what the plan is the feds kick down the door. That ballarat uni is a very cool venue, from what i remember. But what stops that evil sunlight gettting in though windows?

umm.... curtains/blinds... that (among other things like the insulating properties of still air) are what they are designed for after all.

I've only seen the venue in daylight full of food, is it the place just over the concrete bridge? either that or im getting flashbacks from nam.

Have a look at the pics on the site, there are two rooms, area 1
and area 2 that are pitch black, area 1 is reserved, but area 2 is
first in best dressed. I will email all the forum users and post here
when the booking system is operational ;) So I'd be looking at
some prime area 2 real estate ;)

travelling sucks. Whats the ratio of local lanners to outsiders at lans nowadays? anyway next lan on the roster, whos not going?

i'm very tempted kenny, don't tempt me any more!! mebbe the BLAMMERS would go to LAN-X, in their BLAMbus!! crazy i want a busload of MorB peeps to come lanning - next LAN-X we'll do that!

Do you make the same generous contribution to the children even if you are only at the lan for one day instead of 4?
Doent matter to me since i dont even have enough time to pass through like a bad curry.
