Thoughts? Gameplay Experience?

Intro movie is once again bad acting but other than that, not too bad of a run. Gonna play a few missions before posting further...

The acting in the games has always pretty much been bad.

Me and Burnouts have played through the Campaign doing it co operative. Enjoying it a lot so far, although it is extremely easy on medium. Still a lot of fun though.

Online is a bit gay, no filters or anything, but when you get a decent game in, can be very fun. Just a few more fixes and it would be a rather great game.

obviously, you don't get the Red Alert universe, its intentionally campy, it isn't bad acting per s?, however it is deliberatly off-key to add that humor aspect.

otherwise, i'm enjoying it!

yeah except EA call patches "expansion packs"
dont expect much to change apart from the major bugs..

if i did play it, itd be purely for the singleplayer storyline/movies.. always good entertainment there
tho after supcom itd feel like im stepping back in time to an age before zoom, unit/movement/patrol/build order queuing, decent pathfinding, formations..... BALANCE (ie: the japanese side..)

edit: and surely youd play through co-op campaign on hard?! usually the only way to make it fair..

EA seem to patch their games, but only every few months, this is the biggest downfall to their competetive aspirations. they dont patch often enough, especially when it comes to balance issues, CnC3 has been out for 2 years now, and the Scrin are still way overpowered.

yeah c&c3 is a good example..
different genre, but battlefield2 didnt work on my old pc for 2 years, well, it did, after fiddling, but then another patch would be released that would break it again..
it wouldnt work at all on my new pc..

it sucks, really it does. i love EAs blockbuster franchises but i cant bring myself to buy them, i just know im going to be let down again.

the only game i think i bought in the last 12 months were both COD titles and thats out of about 10 games, the rest were EA titles, its just bad luck that the games i love ot play are owned by them.
