My 2 cents

1) Time to get sponsors
2) time to get offical an become an association

Sponsors sounds like a good idea, unless of course this becomes a forum riddled with advertisements. A couple of ads here and there I can deal with but no pop-ups or "click here to get your prize!" bullshit!

If they ever manage to get a brothel running in Warrnambool, can we get them to sponsor Morb? I love to see the prizes at future LANs then. :D

If you do start to become 'official', then you could also look at the aspect of hiring out equipment for an income...

doesn't morb already have sponsors? I say more to the point it needs larger sponsors, IE someone in the networking industry such as netgear, cisco or any of the other asstd businesses

actually was awaiting more news from FIC as possible sponsor, also netgear and HP were options depending on how i play my cards...

a legal body would help the cause however

and yer beefy, lending gear to ppl for an income would be a good idea, although all the scungy bastards round here would just tell me where to go and do somefin else lol

morb should move to mildura, the dudes runnng the adls here seem to be face down in the mud. MorB isnt related DoD is it? the warez group not the game.

warez...evil >:)

nah no relation there, more to the game but neither really...

Hello all i went to MorB 4 and lacking in experience I was woundering if sKuLLsHoT and/or SileNceR have ever thought about using those gaming servers online for practise.
Yeah i know that there is plenty of online servers but with a private server there could be clan matches and recruitments without having to wait till another LAN.

This is just an idea and may cost too much or eat up too much of your beloved adsl time, not to mention the administrative side of it.

Keep up the good work guys.

Servers on ADSL ain't great. If I ran one from here, you'd get 3-4 players max before it started lagging. With ADSL, the upload speeds are no good for running gaming servers behind.. so it won't happen.

I don't know about the other clans but 0wnZ has pre-lanned every MorB lan excluding M4 so far, and quite often holds little clan pracs. On occasion MX and 0wnZ LAN it up also which makes for a cosy 15 or so person LAN... even if they are... ugh.... cs friendly.

LOTD (http://members.fortunecity.com/cycophil/main/lotd/legion.html) usually have a pre-LAN get together, we're just that keen we can't wait :D

i have adsl...dont need lil lans - but i still lan every chance..wierd huh?

would love to run some for of dedicated server - no matter wot it was, but alas, as u said bandwidth/cost constraints are far too great, i'd rather if anythin, organise times for like anyone interested to jump on the net and takeover a server or two online, given a choice of gametype
just an idea

mebbe if ppl interested, ya could get on IRC with mirc (www.mirc.com) or trillian, at irc.enterthegame.com:6667 and jump in #morblans to know exactly wots goin on with those of us MorB'ers that play stuff online...
